2-15-2016: Office of victims services.

There is an office of victims services in the department of justice. The office shall ensure that victims and witnesses of crime receive fair and proper treatment in the criminal justice system and that they are provided important services and assistance required by Title 46, chapter 24. The office is under the supervision and control of the attorney general.
