The society may engage in such fundraising drives and public contribution campaigns as will contribute to its continued development and support. It may produce, reproduce, sell, or exchange art objects, film, books, photographs, magazines, pamphlets, and museum objects which are appropriate and will bring credit to the society and to Montana. It may also receive fees, commissions, and royalties on the display and sale of arts and crafts. All profits, revenues, royalties, or fees received in any such manner shall be deposited in the state treasury and may not be used for any purposes other than the improvement, development, and operation of the society.
