45-6-207: Fraudulent sale or lease of property.

(1) A person who knowingly lists or advertises residential or commercial property for sale or rent without legal title or authority commits the offense of fraudulent sale or lease of property.

(2) A person convicted of the offense of fraudulent sale or lease of property shall be fined at least $1,000 or be imprisoned in the county jail for a term of not less than 6 months, or both.
