53-30-322: Powers and responsibilities of department.

The department may:

(1) upon the request of a local community corrections board, provide assistance in the planning of community corrections facilities and programs; and

(2) contract with a community corrections facility or program for the provision of services for offenders under the custody of the department. The contract must address facility or program review and evaluation, accounting and reporting standards, and reimbursement of the facility or program.
