- Part 27. Abandonment and Consolidation of Counties
Except as provided in 7-2-2726, all valid and existing contracts entered into by a county abandoned and abolished under this part which, by the terms thereof, will extend beyond the time when such county ceases to exist shall continue in full force and effect as contracts of the county designated in the petition for abandonment as the county to which the territory of the abandoned and abolished county is attached and made a part.
