7-21-3308: Effect of failure to pay gross proceeds charge.

Every person, firm, or corporation availing themselves of the privileges provided hereby who shall fail, neglect, or refuse to so pay to the market master of the county market of any county of this state 5% of the gross sales made by them within such market shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon the conviction thereof shall be fined not less than $10 or more then $100 and imprisoned in the county jail until such fine be paid, in the manner provided by law, and shall be forever thereafter disbarred from the privileges afforded by the county markets established at the county seats of every county in Montana.
