70-26-202: Rent -- when payable.

When there is no usage or contract to the contrary, rents for real property under an arrangement not governed by chapter 24 of this title are payable at the termination of the holding if it does not exceed 1 year. If the holding is by the day, week, month, quarter, or year, rent is payable at the termination of the respective periods, as it successively becomes due.
