N.C. Gen. Stat. § 127A-181: Payment of liability to responding state.

Upon presentation of a claim therefor by an appropriate authority of a state whose National Guard forces have aided this State pursuant to the Compact, any liability of this State pursuant to G.S. 127A-177(f) shall be paid out of the general fund.
