N.C. Gen. Stat. § 53-445: (Effective January 1, 2027) Supervision.

(a) The Commissioner may request evidence of compliance with this Article or a rule adopted or order issued under this Article as reasonably necessary or appropriate to administer and enforce this Article, and other applicable law, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the United States PATRIOT Act.

(b) A virtual currency kiosk operator shall provide the Commissioner all records the Commissioner may reasonably require to ensure compliance with this Article. (2026-45, s. 1.)
