N.C. Gen. Stat. § 58-71-15: Qualifications of sureties on bail.

Where this section sits in the code

Each and every surety for the release of a person on bail shall be qualified as:

(1) An insurer and represented by a surety bondsman or bondsmen; or

(2) A professional bondsman; or
