N.D. Cent. Code § 40-11-01: Enacting clause for ordinances

The enacting clause of every ordinance adopted by a municipal corporation shall be: "Be it ordained by the _____________ (governing body) of the city of _____________." Such caption, however, may be omitted when the ordinances are published in book form or are revised and digested.
