N.D. Cent. Code § 43-11-13: License required

An individual may not:

1.Advertise, engage in, or attempt to engage in the practice of cosmetology, esthetics, advanced esthetics, or manicuring, or conduct an establishment or school of cosmetology unless having first obtained the proper license.

2.Employ an unlicensed individual to perform cosmetology unless otherwise provided under this chapter.
