RSA 215-C:44: Vehicles Exempted from Fee.

All snowmobiles operated in this state by the federal government, the state, or any political subdivision of the state shall be exempt from registration fees; however, such vehicles shall be registered with a permanent plate or set of plates and a certificate, in such a manner as may be required by the executive director.
