N.J. Stat. § 16:12-17: "Parish" as meaning "congregation"

TITLE 16 CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS, RELIGIOUS

The word "parish" when used in this chapter shall be construed to be equivalent to "congregation" whenever necessary to carry out the object and intent of the chapter.
