N.J. Stat. § 39:5F-6: Personal recognizance

TITLE 39 MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC REGULATION

Personal recognizance is acceptable only if not prohibited by law. If mandatory appearance is required, it shall take place immediately following issuance of the citation.
