N.J. Stat. § 40A:10-9: Organization of commissioners

TITLE 40A MUNICIPALITIES AND COUNTIES

The commissioners shall, forthwith after their appointment, organize for the ensuing year by election from their membership of a chairman, who shall serve for the year.
