N.J. Stat. § 46:30B-10.1: Presumption of location

Presumption of location. If the records of a holder show that the property is payable or distributable to a person other than the owner, but the records do not show the last known address of the other person, it shall be presumed that the last known address of the other person is the same as that of the owner.
