CHAPTER 211 - LOCAL FACILITIES FOR DETENTION
COUNTY JAILS

Any sheriff or jailer who defrauds a prisoner of his or her allowance, or does not allow a reasonable allowance and accommodation, forfeits $50 for each offense. The money may be recovered in an appropriate civil action by the board of county commissioners.
