PROCEDURE FOR ABOLISHMENT OF COUNTIES

The election officers shall make returns to the board of county commissioners, who shall, within 7 days thereafter, meet and canvass the vote. The county clerk must make a certified abstract thereof, seal such abstract, endorse it “election returns” and without delay transmit it by registered mail to the Secretary of State.
