NRS 245.050: Biweekly or semimonthly payment of salaries.

All county officers and regular and temporary employees of the counties are entitled to be paid their salaries as fixed by law, ordinance or resolution either at regular 2-week intervals or in two equal semimonthly payments. If salaries are paid semimonthly, the first semimonthly payment for each month must be for the first half of that particular month, and the second semimonthly payment must be for the last half of the month.
