CHAPTER 248 - SHERIFFS
FEES; COMMISSIONS; COMPENSATION; MILEAGE

If any sheriff shall take more or greater fees than are allowed by law, the sheriff shall be liable to indictment, and on conviction shall be removed from office and fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000.
