NRS 284.307: Automatic advancement of person in training or preparatory position.

An employee who holds a position classified as a training or preparatory position may advance automatically to a position having a higher classification after the employee meets the minimum qualifications for the higher classification and receives the recommendation of the appointing authority for that advancement.
