NRS 287.500: Definitions.

As used in NRS 287.500 to 287.530, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. “Employee organization” means an organization of any kind whose members are governmental employees and has as one of its purposes the improvement of the terms and conditions of employment of governmental employees.

2. “Professional service” means any type of personal service which may be performed only pursuant to a license, certificate of registration or other authorization issued by this state, except services provided by any person licensed under chapter 630 or 633 of NRS, by any medical facility or facility for the dependent as defined in chapter 449 of NRS or any agency to provide personal care services in the home as defined in NRS 449B.015.
