CHAPTER 293B - MECHANICAL VOTING SYSTEMS OR DEVICES
PREPARATION FOR OPENING POLLS

The county or city clerk shall not appoint any person to prepare any mechanical recording device for an election unless the person is fully qualified to perform his or her duties in connection with the complete preparation of the devices for the election and the instruction of the election officers and voters.
