NRS 393.140: Exchange, purchase, lease and acquisition of school sites and other real property.

The board of trustees of a school district shall have the power by exchange, purchase, lease or otherwise to acquire any school site or other real property for necessary school purposes, including but not limited to playgrounds, athletic fields and sites for stadiums.
