1. If the plan for personal responsibility signed by the head of a household pursuant to NRS 422A.535 includes a provision providing for the payment of child care assistance to the head of the household, the Division may provide child care assistance to the head of the household if the household becomes ineligible for benefits for one or more of the reasons described in 42 U.S.C. § 608(a)(11). The Division shall not provide child care assistance pursuant to this section for more than 12 consecutive months.
2. As used in this section, “child care assistance” means assistance provided by the Division to low-income families to pay for the costs of child care.
