NRS 474.517: Payment of claims against district.

All accounts, bills and demands against a district organized pursuant to NRS 474.460 or 474.533 must be audited, allowed and paid by the board of fire commissioners by warrants drawn on the county treasurer or the treasurer of the district. The county treasurer or, if authorized by the board of county commissioners and the board of fire commissioners, the treasurer of the district shall pay them in the order in which they are presented.
