  3. TRIP PERMITS

1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, no manufactured home, mobile home, manufactured building or commercial coach may be moved upon the highways or roads of this state through use of any valid license plate unless a proper trip permit is obtained and displayed.

2. NRS 489.621 to 489.661, inclusive, do not apply to manufactured homes, mobile homes, manufactured building or commercial coaches moved:

(a) Through this state from and to points outside Nevada.

(b) Into this state with a valid license plate or permit from another state.

(c) With any valid license plate when movement is from:

(1) The place of manufacture of the manufactured home, mobile home, manufactured building or commercial coach to the place of business of a dealer licensed under this chapter;

(2) One dealer lot to another; or

(3) A dealer lot to the place of delivery to that dealer’s buyer.
