GENERAL PROVISIONS

“Transfer standards” means a physical artifact, a static or dynamic measurement device or a reference material that is used for a short period of time in limited environmental and operational conditions to check the accuracy of commercial weighing and measuring equipment and that is stable during such a period of time.
