NRS 630.170: Submission of evidence of graduation from accredited medical school in United States or equivalent foreign country.

In addition to the other requirements for licensure, an applicant for a license to practice medicine who is a graduate of a medical school located in the United States or an equivalent foreign country shall submit to the Board proof that the applicant has received the degree of doctor of medicine from a medical school which, at the time of graduation, was accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or an organization that accredits medical schools in an equivalent foreign country and is nationally recognized in that country. The proof of the degree of doctor of medicine must be submitted directly to the Board by the medical school that granted the degree. If proof of the degree is unavailable from the medical school, the Board may accept proof from any other source specified by the Board.
