GENERAL PROVISIONS

“Basic nursing services” means the performance of acts designated by the Board which are within the practice of nursing under the direction of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse that do not require the substantial specialized skill, judgment and knowledge required of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
