NRS 641.010: Legislative declaration.

The practices of psychology and behavioral health promotion and prevention are hereby declared to be learned professions, affecting public safety, health and welfare and subject to regulation to protect the public from the practice of psychology and behavioral health promotion and prevention by unqualified persons and from unprofessional conduct by persons licensed to practice psychology and behavioral health promotion and prevention.
