NRS 689A.04032: Construction of provisions requiring certain coverage by policy of health insurance.

1. The provisions of NRS 689A.04033 to 689A.0465, inclusive, must not be construed to require a policy that provides coverage only for a specified disease or illness or other limited benefit to provide the coverage set forth in those sections.

2. The Division shall not interpret the term “policy of health insurance,” for the purposes of NRS 689A.04033 to 689A.0465, inclusive, in a manner contrary to the provisions of subsection 1.
