ENERGY EFFICIENCY STANDARDS FOR APPLIANCES

“Heating gas fireplace” means a vented fireplace, including, without limitation, an appliance that is freestanding, recessed or zero clearance or a gas fireplace insert, that is:

1. Fueled by natural gas or propane; and

2. Not a decorative gas fireplace.
