N.Y. Agriculture & Markets Law § 140-a: Provision for seed tests

§ 140-a. Provision for seed tests. Any citizen of this state shall

have the privilege of submitting to the department samples of seeds for

testing and analysis subject to payment of a fee to the commissioner

that shall, at a minimum, cover the full costs of the services provided.

All monies received by the commissioner pursuant to this section shall

be deposited in an account within the miscellaneous special receive fund

and shall be used to defray the expenses incidental to carrying out the

services authorized by this section.
