N.Y. Alternative County Government Law § 502: Powers of commission

§ 502. Powers of commission. The county park and recreation commission

shall, subject to such rules and regulations as the board of supervisors

shall prescribe, have supervision, direction and control over the

operation, maintenance and repair of all parks, playgrounds, athletic

fields and recreation centers, including buildings, structures,

equipment and appurtenances constructed or otherwise acquired by the

commission within the county outside cities.
