N.Y. Arts and Cultural Affairs Law § 20.45: Separability

§ 20.45. Separability. If any provision of any section of this article

and each special law enacted pursuant to this article or the application

thereof to any person or circumstance shall be judged invalid by a court

of competent jurisdiction, such order or judgment shall be confined in

its operation to the controversy in which it was rendered, and shall not

affect or invalidate the remainder of any provision of any section of

this article and each such special law or the application thereof to any

other person or circumstances, and to this end each provision of this

article and each such special law is hereby declared to be severable.
