N.Y. Arts and Cultural Affairs Law § 57.11: Penalty

§ 57.11. Penalty. A public officer who refuses or neglects to perform

any duty required of him by this article or to comply with a

recommendation of the commissioner of education under the authority of

this article, shall for each month of such neglect or refusal, be

punished by a fine of not less than twenty dollars.
