N.Y. Canal Law § 91: Tonnage statistics

§ 91. Tonnage statistics. The corporation shall collect and compile

accurate records of the tonnage transported on the canals during each

season of navigation. Such data, together with all other necessary

information relative to canal transportation shall be arranged in

convenient form and furnished to those interested. The corporation shall

publish from time to time such data and information as, in its opinion,

will promote and encourage commerce on the canals.
