N.Y. Correction Law § 89-d: Transportation

§ 89-d. Transportation. The state of New York shall have no

responsibility, financial or otherwise, for transporting incarcerated

individuals between a New York city local correctional facility and an

alternate correctional facility, regardless of the reason for such

transfer. The city of New York shall be responsible for all such costs,

as well as the actual transportation and supervision of incarcerated

individuals during transport.
