N.Y. Education Law § 3008: Certification of teachers by local authorities

§ 3008. Certification of teachers by local authorities. A district

superintendent, a city superintendent of schools or such other authority

of a city school district as may be designated by law may issue such

certificate as may be authorized by law or by the regents general rules.
