N.Y. Education Law § 3017: Individual liability of trustees

§ 3017. Individual liability of trustees. Any person employed in
disregard of section three thousand eleven or of section three thousand
sixteen shall have no claim for wages against the district, but may
enforce the specific contract made against the trustees or board of
education consenting to such employment as individuals.
