N.Y. Education Law § 563: Commissioner; powers

§ 563. Commissioner; powers. The commissioner shall have

responsibility for the administration of the program created by this

article and may promulgate such regulations as are necessary to carry

out the provisions of this article. The amount required to be paid

under the provisions of this article shall be payable on order and

warrant of the comptroller on vouchers certified or approved by the

commissioner in the manner provided by law.
