N.Y. Education Law § 8600: Introduction

§ 8600. Introduction. This article defines the practice of clinical

laboratory technology and provides for the licensing of clinical

laboratory technologists, cytotechnologists, and histotechnologists and

for the certification of clinical laboratory technicians and

histotechnicians. The general provisions for all professions contained

in article one hundred thirty of this title shall apply to this article.
