N.Y. Energy Law § 11-107: Administration and enforcement

§ 11-107. Administration and enforcement. Except as otherwise provided

in regulations adopted pursuant to section three hundred eighty-one of

the executive law, the administration and enforcement of the provisions

of the code with respect to any building shall be the responsibility of

that governmental entity which is responsible for the administration and

enforcement of the provisions of the uniform code or other applicable

fire prevention and building construction code with respect to such

building. The code shall be administered and enforced in the manner

prescribed by applicable local law or ordinance consistent with the

standards and procedures adopted pursuant to section three hundred

eighty-one of the executive law.
