N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law § 19-0105: Declaration of purpose

§ 19-0105. Declaration of purpose.

It is the purpose of this article to safeguard the air resources of

the state from pollution by: (1) controlling or abating air pollution

which shall exist when this artcle shall be enacted and (2) preventng

new air pollution, under a program which shall be consistent with the

declaration of policy above stated and in accordance with the provisions

of this article.
