N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law § 21-1707: Effective date of this act

§ 21-1707. Effective date of this act.

The provisions of this act shall become effective immediately upon

final enactment; but the Governor shall not enter into the compact

herein set forth until the state of New Jersey and the commonwealth of

Pennsylvania shall have passed a substantially similar act embodying the

said compact between at least the states of New Jersey, New York and the

commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
