N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law § 54-1301: Long Island central pine barrens area planning

§ 54-1301. Long Island central pine barrens area planning.

In order to further the purposes of article 57 of this chapter, the

commissioner shall provide, within amounts appropriated from the

environmental protection fund, state assistance payments for the

preparation of the comprehensive central pine barrens land use plan

pursuant to section 57-0121 of this chapter. State assistance payments

may be made to the central pine barrens joint planning and policy

commission established in article 57 of this chapter for all eligible

costs incurred after April first, nineteen hundred ninety-three. No

monies shall be expended for Long Island central pine barrens area

planning except pursuant to an appropriation therefor.
