N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law § 71-2307: Abatement of pollution

§ 71-2307. Abatement of pollution.

Where any freshwater wetlands have been damaged or endangered by

pollution or are subject to pollution, the commissioner shall take all

appropriate action to abate the pollution. The commissioner may restrict

or order cessation of solid waste disposal, deep well disposal, or

liquid waste disposal where such is polluting a given freshwater

wetland.
