N.Y. Executive Law § 970*2: Statement of purpose

* § 970. Statement of purpose. It is the purpose of this article to

ensure:

1. that all federal and state funds utilized for job training and job

development programs are spent in the most economical, efficient and

effective manner;

2. that unnecessary duplication and overlapping among such programs is

eliminated; and

3. that the various job training and job development programs

administered or funded by state agencies are implemented in a

coordinated manner so as to maximize the effectiveness of each of these

programs individually and of their overall effectiveness.
